Prismatic Pools is inspired by a lifetime of visits to Yellowstone National Park, where the brilliant colors of its geothermal pools became part of my earliest memories. Their luminous blues, fiery oranges, and vibrant reds have stayed with me, shaping the way I see color and landscape. Through improvisational piecing and freeform quilting, I recreate the rippling movement and layered beauty of these natural wonders. Prismatic Pools is both a celebration of Yellowstone's extraordinary landscape and a reflection on the places that leave a lasting imprint, reminding us how memory and nature continue to shape our perspective.
