Hi. Let me introduce myself...

I'm a graphic designer/artist who has taken to quilting as another medium to express my creative self. I've spent most of my career as a graphic designer working in various agencies.

About 15 years ago I started doing pattern design within the scrapbooking industry and I contributed designs to several fabric lines for BasicGrey via Moda Fabrics. I enjoy creating beautiful patterns and seeing them transformed into fabric. I began quilting within that same time period and I was immediately hooked. I love to work with my hands and creating tactile designs is so satisfying after spending a day on the computer. I found that I could translate easily my design skills to this new medium and began to explore how to channel that into fabric.

I'm currently Creative Director for Missouri Star Quilt Company and direct their Block and Modblock magazines. I have designed quilt patterns for the national MQG for their Quilt of the Month program. I am also featured in their latest book Modern Quilts: Designs of the New Century for my Funky Medina quilt design which is also apart of their traveling exhibit currently touring around the country. I also co-founded and am creative director of Curated Quits journal—a subscription based modern gallery of quilt inspiration, articles and patterns.

I relish the opportunity to be a part of this quilting community and enjoy the opportunity to associate with such talented women and men.
